The South Canoe Wind Project team held open house information sessions both in Vaughan and the Town of Chester. The sessions aimed to provide information and to receive feedback from residents and local stakeholders. We received considerable input and are striving to maintain community involvement in the project. The project team would like to thank those who made it to the community sessions and encourage those with further questions or comments to contact us.
Since the open house sessions in February 2012, the project footprint has been significantly reduced as a result of recommendations during the Environmental Assessment review process. Open house posters below reflect the previous project footprint.
